THE FORBES HALL
EXPANSION PROJECT

After years of dreaming of improvements, the Thetis Island Community Association's membership voted in 2018 to move forward with the expansion and renovations to Forbes Hall.

Our Hall is a place we create, play, perform, gather, and plan for the betterment of our community, and our lives.

In addition to significantly improved functionality, the expansion includes upgrades to the current utilities; increased electrical service, sustainability components such as rainwater collection, increased wall depth & insulation, as well as other efficiencies like a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.  Almost doubling the size of the hall will provide the community with a facility that will meet the needs and wants of our whole community for years to come.

Fundraising

The long-awaited expansion and renovations to our community hall are moving towards completion.  We still have a ways to go with fundraising, and appreciate all that is contributed to this much needed community facility.  It is with the generosity of family, friends and neighbours that the Thetis Island Community will be able to complete the expansion and renovations.

Information is shared via e-Spokes, thetisposts.ca, the TICA website, the Thetis Island Community Posts FaceBook page, and on the Hall Expansion FaceBook page.
